Halloween is my favorite holiday. One Halloween in college, I was undervalued, underappreciated, and disregarded by someone who claimed to care about me. I decided I was not going to let anyone take this day from me again so a few years ago I started the tradition of writing myself Halloween cards. I wish I was always so compassionate to myself but at least I got me on Halloween! Stay boo-tiful, gentle readers.
